When you are here
my being moves in your presence
visceral to the core of my soul
I spark and come alive
my mortal being humbled by the miracles
when you are here.
When you are gone
I ache from under my skin
impregnated by our soul’s union
truth informs my inner wisdom
I yearn for my heart’s echo
when you are gone.
